This library is located in Machakos Town on Ngei Road,Syokimau Avenue opposite Machakos Huduma Centre. The library is located behind a garage and was setup as a research centre for Machakos County Government to store their reference material and make them available for the public. The library hall is small and can accomodate 50 patrons with very little furniture.

The collection is composed of mostly research and reference books. Access to the library is free with the library open from 8am - 5pm on weekdays. There is a PWD access ramp.
